The drummer in my band also happens to be the main vocalist. we've been looking for a mic upgrade (don't know what he uses now), but we specifically want one that will do the best job picking up him and not the drums. I've read about the shure sm58 and sm58a beta. are either of these good choices? by the way, he probably wouldn't use a headset just because of breathing noises and we sometimes talk/yell at each other onstage. I'm open to any suggestions, even a headset as long as we can get rid of the breathing aspect. our budget is around $200 or so. thanks!
