Recording Different Time Signatures

Hey Guys,

Name is Kelly. First post on here.

My band is heading into studio this April to record new album. Recording itself isn't a problem but i do have corcerns about one issue.

We use very basic time signature changes and i'm wondering how do i record to the metronome whenthe time sugnature changes within the song.. One song is in 4/4 but the chorus is in 3/4.. Any ideas? Tips?

Kelly

Just have quarter notes pumping and you'll be fine.

Are you sure it's 3/4 and not 6/8? Cause 3/4 and 4/4 are both quarter note based time sigs. And there is nothing hard about playing along with quarter note clicks as both sigs have quarter notes as their beat. No tempo change+ straight quarter notes= easy.
