Grover SV snare Anyone here have experience with Grover snare drums? SV series or Concert drums? My old drum teacher had a Hinger touch-tone snare drum that was really sick and he turned me on to Grover stuff as well.
BTW, I recently got a Grover SV snare off eBay for $67.00. It is pretty cool because it is 4.75x13 and is black wood finish. The shell is really fine quality and the edge is great too. They usually go new for around 400 bucks so when I bid on this I was shocked to win it at $67.00. I am not crazy about the hoop on top. I want to change it out to a Pearl or Yamaha diecast/wood hoop and I think that drum would be one of the best deals in a long time. (Almost as good a deal as my 1966 mint Ludwig's w/all accessories and cymbals/cases/hardware for $200.00.)
